"Are you searching for your true self? Then come out of your own prison, leave the little creek and join the mighty river that flows into the ocean..."

Rumi

About Me

I still remember the sound and feel of the ocean when, as a child, I spent many long summers visiting my family on the beautiful islands of Fiji. Away from the hustle and bustle of London life, I ran barefoot with wild abandon. Free to inhabit the vastness of the nurturing forces around me, I ground my feet to the earth, felt the warm sun on my skin, the pure air to breathe and the ocean to cleanse and replenish my body, mind and spirit. Looking back now, I can see that something important was happening in those moments: my nervous system was resetting, settling into safety through nature, laughter, rhythm and belonging. Surrounded by nature, family and friends, I had the opportunity to reawaken my inner intelligence and the sense of identity that knows who we are, what we need and how we are designed to heal and thrive - in Sanskrit we call this ahamkara. That time in Fiji taught me to find my flow, peacefully attuning to the rhythms of life and this became the quiet thread running through both my personal life and professional career.

With over more than thirty years in health and social sciences, I have come to see health not as a fixed state, but as movement: a river shaped by its surroundings, sometimes slowed by obstacles, sometimes diverted, but always capable of finding a way forward. Today, as a health professional specialising in oncology and integrative caremy work helps people restore that flow when illness, fatigue, fear or loss have disrupted it. Together, we explore where life’s current feels obstructed, how it can move more freely, easing the rocks that block its path, restoring balance, autonomy and meaning.

The RESET-Nature framework

I developed RESET-Nature as a framework that translates the intelligence of natural systems into practical pathways for recovery and renewal. Rather than focusing solely on managing symptoms, my work is grounded in the understanding that health is dynamic, relational and regenerative.

We are moving beyond a model of care centred on disease and deficit. Health is not simply the absence of symptoms — it is the presence of energy, rhythm, connection and meaningful participation in life. Using a nature-based lens, we focus on restoring flow: strengthening bioenergetic capacity, regulating the nervous system and reshaping daily routines and environments so that life feels possible again — at any stage of illness or recovery.

At the heart of this work is the understanding that each person carries an inner organising intelligence that shapes identity, direction and lived experience. When illness disrupts rhythm and confidence, this sense of self can feel fractured or diminished. Recovery is not about erasing symptoms, but about restoring coherence — between body, mind, environment and identity — so that energy can move with greater ease and purpose.

RESET-Nature reflects this integration through five living principles:

R — Rhythm
Re-establishing daily and seasonal rhythms to support nervous system balance, restorative sleep and steady energy.

E — Energy
Rebuilding vitality at both a cellular and behavioural level through nourishment, breath, movement and sustainable pacing.

S — Somatic Awareness
Strengthening your connection to the body’s signals — helping you feel calmer, more grounded and better able to respond rather than react.

E — Environment
Shaping your physical, sensory and relational surroundings to reduce strain and support recovery, clarity and participation in daily activities.

T — Trust & Transform
Rebuilding confidence in your body and sense of self, restoring direction and supporting meaningful reintegration into daily roles and relationships.

"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished" - Lao Tzu

I originally qualified as an Occupational Therapist, supporting people across NHS and community settings living with chronic and long-term health conditions. Alongside my clinical work, I trained as a yoga and mindfulness teacher, with a background in somatic movement and yoga philosophy. Together, these disciplines have shaped an approach that is evidence-based; integrating science, embodied awareness and meaningful occupation.

Over time, I have come to understand that we are not separate from nature, but part of its rhythms and cycles. The same patterns of expansion and contraction, rest and renewal, that move through the natural world also move within us.

Through RESET-Nature, I support people living with long-term or complex health conditions to rebuild energy, clarity, strength and purpose. My work is grounded in the natural intelligence of the body and the seasons, recognising that healing is not a fixed destination but an ongoing process of adaptation and transformation. I hope that by sharing my knowledge and experience, I can help you feel grounded, connected and inspired to embrace life fully.
